Monday's Mutt with Kern County Animal Services

Queenie – 986065

Hello Kern County!

My name is Queenie and I am a staff favorite at the shelter.  I am a very loving and affectionate little girl.  I came to the shelter on November 22nd when I was rescued from the streets of Bakersfield by a kind animal control officer.  My friends at the shelter believe I am a Queensland Heller mix about 2 years old.

I love lots of attention and love to give kisses.  I am a very happy-go-lucky kind of girl who wants to be by your side.  I seem to do well with other similar sized dogs so a new home with a doggie friend would be great!  I am such a love bug that just about any home would be a great fit for me.  My new family will need to keep me active as I am an active kind of dog that loves being outside and exploring my surroundings.

If you think I could be the perfect fit for your family, you can meet me at the Kern County Animal Services’ Bakersfield Shelter located at 3951 Fruitvale Avenue.  My adoption fee is just $20 during the shelter’s 4th Annual Home 4 the Holidays adoption event.  My adoption fee includes my spay surgery cost, first set of vaccinations, a microchip and more!  Don’t forget to mention my ID number when you visit – 986065!
