Barney –  973433

Hello Kern County!  That’s right, I have been featured before on the Jaz McKay show, but sadly, I am still waiting for a new family to love.  My friends at the shelter and Jaz want me to find that special home, so I am a repeat guest.

My name is Barney and my friends at the shelter think that I am a male Chihuahua mix, about two years old.  I have been patiently waiting to find my new forever family since I came to the shelter on June 7th after my owner could no longer care for me.

I am a handsome little guy that has quickly become a staff favorite as I am always happy and so excited to see people!  I am super sweet, affectionate and loving.  I seem to do well with other similar sized dogs so a family with a doggie friend or a home with older children would be great for me as I love attention and playtime.

I have a very special reduced adoption fee as I am an adoption star!  If you are interested in adopting me, please visit the Kern County Animal Services Bakersfield shelter located at 3951 Fruitvale Avenue.  I will have my first series of vaccinations, my neuter surgery, a microchip and more when adopted. Don’t forget to mention my ID number when you visit –973433.
