Monday's Mutt with Kern County Animal Services

LEA – 1010636

Hello Kern County!

My name is Lea and although I am a little shy at first, once I get to know you, I promise to steal your heart! I am a sweet little Chihuahua mix about 5 years old. I came to the shelter earlier this month when I was rescued from the streets of Bakersfield by a kind stranger.

I love to snuggle, and enjoy being outdoors and basking in the sun. From my photo, you can also see that I LOVE belly rubs. I seem to do well with other similar sized dogs so a home with a doggie friend to play with would be so much fun! My friends at the shelter believe I would do best in a home with a family that has plenty of time and patience to help me overcome my shyness. I would also do best with children that are 12 years old and up.

If you think that I could be the right fit for your family, please visit me at the Kern County Animal Services’ Bakersfield shelter located at 3951 Fruitvale Avenue. My adoption fee is just $15 as I am the Monday’s Mutt featured pet. My adoption fee includes my spay surgery cost, first set of vaccinations, a microchip and more! Don’t forget to mention my ID number when you visit – 1010636!
